WATERPROOF CAPABILITIES
Grümwise trimmers are designed for convenience, flexibility, and confidence, whether used dry or in the shower. Our waterproof models are built to withstand normal grooming conditions and have been tested to meet International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Standard 60529 ratings.
Each waterproof Grümwise trimmer meets:

IPX7 rating — capable of withstanding immersion in up to one metre of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

IPX4 rating — resistant to splashing water from any direction.
These ratings ensure that your Grümwise trimmer can be used safely in the shower or around running water. However, please note that extended exposure beyond these limits, including submersion beyond one metre or for prolonged durations, may damage the device and void the warranty.
SAFE SHOWER USE INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure safe and effective operation when using your Grümwise trimmer in the shower:

Always disconnect the trimmer from all charging cables or devices before use in or near water.

Use the trimmer as you normally would while allowing gentle shower water to rinse away trimmed hair.

Avoid high-pressure water jets or submerging the device under water for extended periods.

After grooming, dry the trimmer thoroughly with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry completely before reconnecting it to a charger or power source.
Failure to follow these safety guidelines may result in water damage that is not covered under warranty.
DISCLAIMER
While Grümwise trimmers are tested to high standards, no electronic grooming device is completely waterproof under all conditions. Water damage resulting from improper use, deep or extended immersion, or use while charging is not covered under the Grümwise Limited Warranty.
